Bradwell is a village in the Rural Municipality of Blucher No. 343, about 36 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon on Highway 763. It incorporated as a village on December 26, 1912.
The area's past reaches much further back than that. In 1936, crews excavating gravel for a highway turned up the partial skeleton of a Neolithic man, who came to be known as "Bradwell Man." A stone scraper and some eagle talons were found nearby.
